Course Information
The TDI Decompression Procedures Diver Course is designed for divers who want to enhance their knowledge and skills in advanced diving techniques involving decompression. This course focuses on safe and efficient decompression practices for dives that exceed no-decompression limits, allowing divers to explore deeper and more complex underwater environments.
Prerequisites: 18 years old, Advanced Diver, 25 dives
Upon completion, divers will have a comprehensive understanding of decompression theory, the ability to plan and execute decompression dives safely, and the skills necessary to respond to emergencies. This course prepares divers for more adventurous and challenging dive experiences.
Key Components
- Theoretical Knowledge:
- Understanding of decompression theory, including nitrogen absorption and off-gassing.
- Knowledge of dive tables and computer use for planning dives.
- Risk management and identifying potential dive hazards.
- Practical Skills:
- Hands-on training in decompression techniques and procedures.

- Certification:
- Successful completion of the course leads to a TDI Decompression Procedures Diver certification, allowing divers to undertake dives that require decompression stops to a maximum depth of 45m.
